Top Tips:

1. Make sure that you are safe and move away from the accident scene, onto a pavement or safe area.
2. Inform the emergency services
3. Take down the registration number, make and model of the other drivers in the accident. Try and get their names and addresses if you can
4. If there were any witnesses or passengers in any of the vehicles involved in the accident, again take their details.
5. If you have a camera on your mobile phone, take as many pictures of the accident scene as you can. Make sure you get the damage to your vehicle, the street name, the surrounding area, and any injuries to yourself if you can see them.
6. If the police attend, make sure that you get the officers name, which station he is from and his identification number.
